Terms of Service

Re-Made lets you photograph or upload a restaurant menu, choose dishes you're interested in, and generates a home-cookable recipe for each one using AI. Generated recipes are our AI's interpretation of the dish based on its name and menu description, not the restaurant's actual recipe, ingredient list, or method. We have no relationship with, and are not endorsed by, the restaurants whose menus you photograph.

Recipes, ingredient lists, and allergen labelling on Re-Made are generated by AI and are provided for general guidance only. They are not verified by a nutritionist, chef, or any human review, and they may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your needs.

• Re-Made attempts to flag likely allergens (from the 14 major allergen categories recognised in the UK/EU) based on the generated ingredient list, and may suggest substitutions to reduce or remove them. This is a best-effort AI feature, not a guarantee. It can miss an allergen, misjudge an ingredient, or suggest a substitution that isn't actually allergen-free.
• If you, or anyone you're cooking for, has a food allergy, intolerance, or any condition where an incorrect ingredient could cause harm, you must independently verify every ingredient before you buy, cook, or eat anything based on a Re-Made recipe. Do not rely on Re-Made's allergen labelling as your sole safeguard.
• You are solely responsible for safe food handling, cooking to safe temperatures, and using your own judgement about whether a recipe, ingredient, or substitution is appropriate for you.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Re-Made is not liable for any illness, allergic reaction, injury, or other harm arising from your use of a recipe generated by the Service.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Let us know immediately at support@re-made.uk if you suspect unauthorised access.

You're responsible for the photos and images you upload. Don't upload anything you don't have the right to share, or anything unlawful, offensive, or that infringes someone else's rights. As described in our Privacy Policy, menu photos are processed to extract dish information and are not stored by Re-Made once that's done.

• New accounts receive two free recipe generations.
• After that, you can buy a credit pack (each credit is spent generating one recipe) or subscribe to the unlimited plan, billed monthly. Prices are shown in the app before you pay and are processed securely by Stripe.
• The unlimited plan is subject to fair use - if your usage is unusually high, we may slow down (rather than block) further generations for the rest of your billing period.
• Subscriptions renew automatically each month until you cancel. You can cancel any time from the billing page; you'll keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for.
• Credit packs don't expire, and aren't tied to a subscription - they remain on your account until used.

Because a credit or a month of unlimited access is consumed as soon as you use it, purchases are generally non-refundable once used. If you believe you were charged in error, or a purchase failed to apply to your account, contact support@re-made.uk within 14 days and we'll look into it. This doesn't affect any statutory rights you have under consumer protection law in your country.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or to infringe anyone's rights.
• Attempt to circumvent free-tier limits, fair-use limits, or payment for the Service.
• Scrape, resell, or redistribute recipes generated through the Service at scale, or use the Service to build a competing product.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, or attempt to access accounts or data that aren't yours.
• Upload malicious files or content designed to exploit the Service.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, without refund of any remaining credits or subscription time, in serious or repeated cases.

You own the dish names, notes, and any content you provide. You grant us a licence to use it solely to operate the Service for you (for example, to generate and store your recipes). Recipes generated for you are yours to use, cook, print, and share for personal purposes. The Re-Made name, branding, app, and underlying software are owned by us and may not be copied or used without permission.

The Service relies on third parties, including Anthropic (AI processing), Supabase (hosting and authentication), Stripe (payments), and optional sign-in via Google, Facebook, or X. Your use of those features is also subject to those providers' own terms.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content (including recipes, ingredient lists, and allergen labelling) will be accurate, complete, or safe for your particular circumstances.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Re-Made will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, loss of profits, or personal injury or illness (including from food allergies or food safety issues) arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law (for example, liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud).

You can delete your account at any time from within the app. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, or discontinue the Service (or parts of it) with reasonable notice where practical.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll let you know by email or through the Service before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
